WEB INDUSTRIES ACQUIRES ENSIGN-BICKFORD'S FILM FIBERS DIVISION

For Immediate Release - February 9, 2004 WESTBORO, MA - Web Industries, Inc. today announced that it has acquired the Film Fibers division of Ensign-Bickford Industries, Inc., effective February 8, 2004. Film Fibers is a global leader in slit film extrusions and has been a pioneer of foamed and fibrillated tapes for the wire and cable, explosives, concrete, food and novelty industries. In addition to the top performing SUPERBULK® cable filler, Film Fibers also offers a wide range of unique synthetic tapes and yarns.
