Press Release - November 09, 2006 Robert J. Lepofsky Retirement Ensign-Bickford Industries, Inc. announces the retirement of Robert J. Lepofsky from his positions as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director. Bob has elected to retire, effective immediately, and will provide support during a short transition period. Bob joined the EBI Board in 1995. While a Director, he made invaluable contributions across many Board Committees during a period of unprecedented growth for our company. Bob became President and CEO in January 2005 after a very successful career at Helix Technology Corporation in order to help guide the company through the period of transition following the death of former Chairman, Joseph E. Lovejoy We express our sincere thanks to Bob for making such a meaningful contribution to EBI over the past eleven years. John A. H. Shober to assume role of Chief Executive Officer EBI’s Board of Directors announces the appointment of John A. H. Shober, current Chairman of the EBI Board, to the additional positions of President and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. John has served as a Director or Advisor to the EBI Board since 1990. John brings a wealth of experience to the role of CEO having served as a Director and CEO of numerous companies and institutions over the past 30 years. In taking on the additional role of CEO, John commented that “The past few years have brought major change to EBI, its businesses and its people. With this change have also come great opportunities. I look forward to leading the EBI team and capturing these opportunities while delivering enhanced value to our Shareholders.”
